Wait until you get a peek at the fabric we unpacked today. This is the Moda Quilt for a Cause new line called Collections Charity.

And this only 1 of 26 prints we received. This line is designed by Mark Dunn, president of the Moda Company, under the Howard Marcus line. All of the fabric designs in the Quilt for a Cause are based on antique quilts  and the proceeds from the sell of these fabrics are given the charities that the Moda Company selects.

Scraphunter's Star from Quilt for a Cause

Have you had the opportunity to come into the shop and look at this Quilt for a Cause Quilt yet? We are putting kits together for you now. The pattern is called "Scraphunter's Star", designed by Evelyn George. The entire cost of the pattern goes to Quilt for A Cause to help finance their programs. The pattern provides yardage requirements for 5 sizes of quilts and over 20 photos of different Hunters Star block arrangements. Your whole quilt group could make this quilt from our kit and every quilt would be different.
