If you are like us
(and thousands of other Phoenix-area quilters) the one thing you will gladly
put off during the summer is hand-stitching a binding to a quilt. The last
thing we need, with the AC slaving away, is the weight of a quilt draped across
our laps. So what shall we do? Quilters were born with the memo-“Hands
must be kept busy at all times” written on each of our birth certificates and we
follow that rule to the nth degree.
